Meet the Patrons

We are honoured to have some incredible patrons here at Happy Me Dance. They are the very best creative and dance talent, with a wealth of industry knowledge. Our patrons are part of the Happy Me family and our students have the opportunity to be taught or mentored by many of them!

Zak Nemorin

Film-maker, Performer, Choreographer, Teacher

Zak has trained at Millennium Performing Arts, The London Studio Centre and The BRIT School. He is currently the head of dance at Millennium Performing Arts, co-creator of Uprooted film and artistic director of The Jazz Core Co.

Leon Petit

Dancer, Actor & Choreographer

Leon began his career as a professional dancer working for an array of artists, including Diana Ross, Spice Girls, Janet Jackson, Beyoncé, Mariah Carey, Kelly Rowland and many many more!

Alex Kordek

International Creative Director, Choreographer, Media & Life Coach

Alex is an international creative director, casting director, choreographer, media coach & life coach based between London & Los Angeles. He is the founder of renowned talent & entertainment agency AJK Agency established in 2008.

Dena Lague-Doyle

Movement Director, Choreographer, Performer

Dena is currently an associate lecturer at Chichester University, and a certified Body Control Matwork Pilates Instructor. She has worked with Sir Matthew Bourne, performing in Sleeping Beauty, the roles of Ferral and Flossie (UK tour 2016).

For Chichester University Dena has choreographed musical adaptations of Erpingham Camp (2018), The Wonderful World Of Dissocia (2017) and Year Walk, a site specific production (2014). In 2004, she was awarded the Dance UK Gulbenkian Bursary for assistant choreography.

Dena was also a featured dancer in the film Mrs Henderson Presents directed by Stephen Frears (2005).

Karen King

Founder and Principal of The Centre Performing Arts College

Karen King is the founder and Principal of The Centre Performing Arts College and has been an examiner and committee member for the Modern Theatre Faculty of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing and on behalf of the society has taught Tap dance to a group of MPs, who performed at a variety of charity events under the name The Division Belles.

 

Karen is currently a trustee for the Society and a member of the F&A and N&R Committees.


 Karen is renowned for training dance teachers and is responsible for the exceptional and personally focussed teacher training offered at The Centre PAC, with graduates teaching and running their own schools worldwide.
